Product Information

ScreenDoors 2000 acts just like the real keyboard typing directly into any application. A list of predicted words actually guesses what you are typing to help speed entry.

Fully Compatible With Windows Vista

(For Windows Only)

Instead of pushing keys on a real keyboard, simply point and click on a picture of a keyboard on your computer screen. ScreenDoors 2000 acts just like the real keyboard typing directly into any application. A list of predicted words actually guesses what you are typing to help speed entry.

This industry-leading software was licensed by Microsoft and forms the basis for the Microsoft On-Screen Keyboard included in every copy of Microsoft Windows 2000. ScreenDoors 2000 is for people using a headpointer like Tracker or a mouse alternative like WISP, a trackball , joystick, or touch window.

ScreenDoors 2000Disabilities Addressed

It is ideally suited for individuals with Quadriplegia, Cerebral Palsy, Multiple Sclerosis, Muscular Dystrophy, ALS, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and any other disability where the user has little or no control of their hands to use a standard keyboard.

Features:

  • Full Keyboard Emulation : Floats above any window and emulates the physical keyboard in nearly every way possible.
  • Internationalized: Any language supported by Windows is automatically supported by ScreenDoors. Change the language on your computer, and the ScreenDoors automatically changes with you.
  • Self-Learning Word Predictor: Type faster by selecting words that automatically learn from your writing patterns.
  • Resize-able: Fit the keyboard to any size you like on your screen - big, small, or in-between.
  • Key-size Selectable : Handy for creating spaces between keys to prevent accidental keystrokes.
  • Number of Keys Selectable: Use the full 101 keyboard, or a smaller one similar to what a laptop has to maximize your screen space.
  • Automatically follows system color scheme: The keyboard will look and feel like the rest of your system (you can also customize if you wish). This is great for people with vision impairments using "high contrast" color scheme.
  • Dwell Selection : You don't have to click a switch to type - just dwell over the key. It "fills" to the top then clicks.
  • Multiple Layouts: Type faster with alphabetical and frequency layouts (as well as the standard qwerty).
  • Full Windows Compatibility : Works great with Windows 95, 98, NT4.0, 2000, and XP.
  • Over 100 User Selectable Options.

System Requirements

  • Windows 95/NT/98/2000/XP/Vista
  • 486/33 or higher
  • 8MB Ram
