The Association of Horizon is a nonprofit organization with hundreds of volunteers, that provides opportunities for adults with and without physical disabilities to socialize, interact and learn from one another. The Association of Horizon, Inc. is a not-for-profit corporation registered in the State of Illinois exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

Proceeds from purchases at Disabled Online, as well as donations go towards the further development and enhancement of Disabled Online, as well as supporting programs provided by the Association of Horizon, Inc.. One such program is a week long summer camp experience where adults with physical disabilities team up, usually one on one, with able-bodied volunteers for a week of recreation, learning and fun.
