Screen Magnification

Screen magnifiers enlarge selected portions of a screen thereby creating a larger, more readable view for those with diminished vision. These products enlarge images while minimising distortion to the image (a process called smoothing). Screen magnifier options include zooming in and out, optional colour contrasts between text and background, split screen navigation, enhanced-size pointers and cursors, and many other features!

Software that makes certain parts, or all depending on the user, of the computer screen/monitor larger—up to 32x larger. Most magnification products turn the standard pointer/cursor into a “tool” that simulates the action of putting a magnifying glass over a letter, word, phrase, sentence and paragraph or on-screen “page.”
