Up for sale is a "like-new" Pride Jazzy Select 6 electric powerchair wheelchair. A neighbor bought this chair last year. He used it for less than 4 months before he passed on. The chair sat in his bedroom until last week when I agreed to sell it. The batteries had developed bad cells, so I replaced them with brand new sealed AGM wheelchair batteries....yesterday! So you will start off with a nearly new chair with brand new batteries.
The chair weighs 100 #. The batteries are 25 # each. The weight capacity (rider) is 300 #. As far as I can tell, there are no scrapes or scratches anywhere on the machine, EXCEPT the headrest. The vinyl is torn. This usually happens when putting the chair in the back of a van. It is not serious, but you should be aware. I have included a picture. The rest of the chair, including the seat and all plastic is just like new.
The battery charger is included. According the the specifications, the chair has a range of 15 miles at 4 miles per hour between charges. It is pretty powerful. The Pride Select series is the new low-profile wheelchairs that are much more streamlined for use inside a home.
I am charging only $225 for packaging and shipping. It will undoubtedly be more, but I will pay the difference from the proceeds of the sale. I will ship it by truck to your destination.
