I lost my leg in 91 {BK} i have all ways had a shuttle lock {system for holding leg on} 2years ago started using vacuum leg it keeps your stump warm in winter, but hot summer, wicks off sweat, improves circulation great for diabetics} BAD getting out of bed with a full bladder bending over to reach and put on your leg before you go to the restroom. GOOD tying one shoe a day. GOOD dropping any thing on the rubber foot. GOOD no cold rubber foot.BAD ex stream pain, phantom shocking literally 220 volts on & OFF for hours. GOOD
lyeraca (med) but takes time. children notice moor, not sure if its no ankle movement or the slight limp bless their harts. BAD getting in & out of cars in tight parking lots, (no ankle movement} you would be surprised what a pain in in the jackass it really is,I know call the {wambulance} but all kidding a side.
A shuttle lock system is fine if your not vary active, or cant get use to wearing, or get past the pain {toughing up the stump}. the vack, leg is moor bulky, but no pistoning {stump slightly moving up and down in the socket} hope it helps. bobby
