The island

I wanna tell you about one of my favorite movies. It called "The island". It`s a story about two soldiers Tikhon and Anatoly. The events taking place on the russian island (Solovetskie islands) during the war of 1941-1945. Fascists attacked the ship with the main character and his friend. They ordered Anatoly to kill his friend or they would kill Anatoly. A fear for his life forced him to shoot a gun... He killed his friend. Tikhon falls into the water. The Germans were deceived and blew up the ship. The priests found the lifeless body on the shore.
1976 year. Anatoly lives on the island in a small church. He works in a boiler room. He has the ability to cure sick people. The other priests envy Anatoly. People come to Anatoly from all over Russia and he help him. But he can not to forget about the murder of his friend. One day the general and his sick daughter came to the church. Anatoly helped the girl. Anatoly soon understands that the girl's father is Tikhon. Anatoly wounded him, but not killed. Anatoly died, knowing that he is not a killer...

Quite an interesting plot, I will have to check Netflix for it.

I think it will be diffucult to see this movie if you don`t know russian language
