My disability started back around 2001. I use go for walks with my wife Jeanette and in the spring of 2001 after a little while we notice my left foot was flopping. I kind of ignored this and just said it was being tired as we did not walk very much before this. But we tried the next day and the same thing happened. So this was the first time my disability raised its ugly head.

A few months later I hurt my shoulder and we found out Jeanette had cancer. So it was a very rough time for us. During the next four years Jeanette got worse. I found out that I had PLS November 2003. Jeanette died August 4th 2004. She had three surgeries and lots of chemo. My disability progress slowly during this time but I was on a drug regiment.

At the end of 2004 I was using a cane off and on mostly at work. But my balance was starting to go. I had more and more trouble walking and was using a walking stick outside when I did the yard work. I was falling more.

In 2005 I fell at work and had to go to the hospital. So at this time my balance was really going bad. I started to use my cane all the time. Also at this time I was dating a girl and that did not work out. It added more stressed to me as stress is bad. So I ended the relationship to cut down on my stress.

During the end of 2005 I started to use a forearm crutch. This gave me more support when I walked and I also started using a scooter. I found it harder and harder to get around. MND can cause a lot of trouble. My legs would not hold me and I fell more. I was lucky that my PLS was going slowly. Some people go to wheelchairs within four years or less.
Well this ends the first part of my blog. I am glad to start getting this down on paper. I am using speech recognition software to make this possible.

I was just reading a lot of blogs about our government and they were saying that we should quit picking on Pres. Obama and let him get on with his agenda. All right wing nuts should get over the fact that they lost.

Now when Bush was president the left wing was saying that he was a Nazi and compared him to Hitler. They did not get over the fact that they lost, and now they do not like people arguing with Pres. Obama. I just see the same things happening as before.

I would like to see healthcare changed to the good but with all the name-calling we are not getting anything done. So far I have read so many versions of the bill that is hard to make any decisions. One section says no undocumented illegal aliens will be able to get subsidies for health care. The bill will not take affect until around 2013, and during that time Obama wants to make all illegal aliens documented. So from what I read that makes them (illegal aliens) able to get subsidies.

I would just like to see all the name-calling stopped and get on with the bill that will make all Americans happy. There is no room for name-calling. We need to all work together.

I do not like to be called names and I do not like to be told that I cannot question my government. This is a freedom that was given to me by the Constitution and I hate to see my rights taken away from me given to me by the Constitution, like when I joined the Army. While in the Army you’re under The Uniform Code of Military Justice. And not the Constitution, but we swear to uphold it, the Constitution.

A little food for thought that all should think about.
This is the first time useing speech recognition software. So please bear with me as I go on. So far it has been working for me.
Trust is a very important thing in marriage you must have trust. If you do not have trust in your marriage then it will not last. Myself and my wife are going to get a power of attorney so that we can sign each other's names it will be a full power of attorney.
I used to work with a lady that ended up getting a divorce from her husband. She talked to me a lot, and I would listen and try to help her. Her husband was running around with a younger lady that he said that he did love more than he loved her. After a little time my friend finally told him to move out she couldn't take anymore. She told me this and I said well that's good, you lost trust with your husband.
As time went on he tried to talk to her to get back together. She told me about this and I said "do you trust him". After some time she came back and said no I do not trust him my next question was could you get trust back. She told me that she could not trust him. And I said why do you want to get back with him. And she could not come up with an answer. So she decided that it was time to end their marriage.
She came back to me later which was kind of funny and told me that the lady that her husband was running around with took a baseball bat to his truck. We both laughed about this. It took a few months to get the divorce but the divorce did go through and she was much happier. She now spends more time with their sons and grandchildren and she's much happier about it.
So trust is a very important part in marriages. I will be giving my wife a full power of attorney as I trust her with all my heart. And my wife she trusts me and she well give me a full-blown power of attorney in return. Because of my PLS she will probably use a power of attorney before I do. I trust her with my life and she takes very good care of me which I know I will need more of this region older.
I was going to write this in groups but I thought it was better to put on the blog. It seems like this speech recognition software is working pretty good. I had to make some corrections but the software worked pretty good. I hope all of you have trust in your marriage and if you don't have trust in your marriage I hope that you're able to get out of old and get on with your life.
You all take care now from Denison Alabama
Please excuse my spelling as I type with one finger and get tired fast.
I have seen the government take over more things in the past few months that it scares me. The banks and car makers and other areas. I know that the car makers are not taken over directly but government did fire some head guys. This scares me. Plus not being able to pay the gov. back until they think you are a good person.
Now I know there should be regulation but because of congress we got in this mess. Freddie Mae and Mac got told to give the sub prime loans by congress and that is what started the mess. I do not trust these people to help as every thing they touch goes to hell like Medicare and Social Security and 401ks.
As some can see I am conservative and I think things would fix them selves if we go back a few years. Loans to those that can pay back. Let people trained in finance do it. You do not get out of debt by going deeper in debt.
I have a budget like most of you do so I think congress should start using one.
