On February 25, 2004, I had dual-transplants of the kidney and liver. After enduring this illness and experiencing the many kindnesses of good Samaritans coming to my aid, I vowed to be fully proactive, in every way possible, towards the agencies, foundations, institutions, and associations whose goals are to make a difference in the lives of those affected by kidney disease. One such foundation is the American Kidney Fund. I also had my legs amputed last years(2009) and it hard. I keep on going no matter what. The Brush Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to making a difference in the world, is seeking sponsorship to assist in hosting a concert at the Paramount Theater in Peekskill, New York for the sole benefit of raising money for the American Kidney Fund. I also have Holiday Show for Children at Christmas and Old Timers Stickball game in August for the kids. Today’s children are tomorrow’s leaders.
