My Sister

I'm going this weekend to Cleveland where my sister has been in a nursing home for several years. She has recently had another complication, an infection, which has given her seizures, delusions, stump pain...I cannot do nursing care, but I will be a companion and I hope a tether to reality, be that as it may. She would, and HAS done the same for me so I'm not doing a great thing here, just returning a favor. I will try to be a help not another burden for my nephew to tote.  I will post here more as the days, maybe weeks pass. And probably won't be on chat or anything much for a while. Those of you who pray, add her to your list, Millie Mathews, my dear eldest sister.

I didn't get to post, barely read a few blogs or forums. I came back from Cleveland Wednesday. Friday night my sister died in her sleep. She was 74. I wish I could share the experiences I had with her, maybe in time I can, but she was a wonderful sister, woman, friend. Thank you all for your prayers and support.
