For my Christmas Tradition we all have a breakfast and wait for everyone than we gather around the tree and we all open our gifts then we have a big christmas dinner. Then we go visit friends and relatives.

I just read this book by Michael J. Fox, and in this book he talks about his personal experience with PD and how it changed his life, but how despite the change hes not letting the PD get in the way of life. He also talk about Christopher reeves and the difficulties he faced after his accident. Michael made a point in the book where he says its not about the challeges you face when it comes to a disability, but how you handle the challeges your faced with, so for all of us that have a disability do your best to find happieness and as difficult as life is sometimes don't ever give up and give in.

For any members that may have read this book I hope you liked it as much as I did, if your looking for something new to read I would recommend this book to anyone.

In my previous job I became a victim of discrimination and workplace harrasment..I was made fun of for the mistakes I made as a new member on the job due to lack of knowledge and learning/physical disability..as for the harrasment I was critisized for being out sick the few days I was out

How do we overcome this in the workplace

I have been dealing with this agency for the past couple years...it is an agency that provides people with disabilities job placement assistance or education assistance and every state has one. I just recently got back involved with this agency for assistance but I feel like they are just sort of playing games with me right now..my counselor told me that they are still unable to determine my elgibility for services so until then I cant move forward..so I have been sitting here trying to submit testing results and paperwork to her for elgibility purposes..she says no thats not necessary and states that im refusing to go through their process to determine elgibility..then just the other day she say lets move forward with services, but I dont see how its going to happen cause she has not determined my elgibilty yet and said to me before that until that happens I cant recieve services, so right now I feel like my counselor is just double talking herself and playing games..its so fustrating. I mean how do they expect to help us if we end up with counselors that dont seem to make any sense
